Faith in Prophets & Apostles

A Muslim faith and believe that Allah has chosen among mankind a number of prophets and apostles as His messenger to mankind to convey the religious Shari'ah of Allah, to save people from the strife and to invite people to the truth.
Allah sent prophets and messengers to bring good news to the mankind of eternal pleasure reserved for those who believe, and warned them of the consequences of disbelief (shirk). And they set an example to behave good and noble man, among others in the form of true worship, morality commendable and focused (hold fast) to the teachings of Allah.

Understanding Prophets and Messengers

Although the task of prophets and apostles are equal in terms of job submission revelation, but the two terms have different meanings. Some Muslims found prophet or apostle is one who receives revelation from God to be implemented primarily for himself: and when he was ordered to convey the revelation of God to man, so he called apostles. But if not, then he is called a prophet.

This opinion was odd sounds. Therefore, a prophet is not possible given the task to convey revelation to mankind? Is the only prophet sent by God to carry out God's religion for himself?. True, that the prophets and apostles, they received a revelation from God. But there are very significant differences in the meaning and the principle of the two.

The meaning of the prophet is the one who revealed to him the previous messengers shariah and shariah was ordered to deliver to a certain people. An example for that is the prophets of Bani Israel who sent prophets like Moses and Jesus. While the apostle is the one who revealed to him a new shariah to be delivered to their own people or a nation. In short it can be called that the apostles were commanded to convey syaria'tnya itself, while the prophet was ordered to deliver Shari'ah other apostles (messengers before) .Allah says

                                      22:52
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.(Surah al-Hajj 52)

Baidlawi Imam interprets the verse as follows:

"Messengers were sent by Allah with a new Shari'ah calls human beings to him. While the prophet was sent by God to set the (run) shariah apostles before ".

With clear boundaries, it can be said that Moses was a prophet as well as apostles. But the Prophet must be a prophet, not the messenger. Because he is not a new syar'at Plavix. Sayyidina Muhammad was a prophet and apostle. However, the most distinctive in themselves prophetic and apostolic he was sent to all mankind, not just for certain people.

A Muslim is obliged to believe all the prophets and apostles as the word of Allah:

                               2:136

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."(Surah al-Baqara 136).

The number of Prophets and Apostles and Breadth Doctrine treatise

In general, a Muslim faith required of the prophets and apostles. This means that we must believe that God has sent a number of prophets and messengers before Prophet Muhammad. So, we do not need to know how many of them entirely, what their names and where they served.

Indeed, in a hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal musnadnya in the book, it is said that the prophet there were approximately 124 000 people and the number of apostles there was 315 people. But the story it would seem not hadith muttawatir, because it is not strong enough to hold onto in the aqidah. Because aqeedah should not be based on the arguments dzonni (that has not been true, as ahad hadith). but it must be based on the arguments that qoth'i 3).

Allah says:

                                            23:78

And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.(Surah al-Mukmin 78)

This verse clearly states that God only introduce some of the prophets and apostles. The Qur'an only explain (tell) by 25 prophets and apostles. They were the ones that we must know one by one, we must also believe in prophetic apostolic funds.

All the prophets and messengers before Prophet SAW Muahammad sent by God to a particular nation (either one or several generations of a nation) and for a given period. Area or region propagation of a prophet and the validity of Sharia was limited until the advent of the apostle successor. All the prophets and messengers, the message of their mission is limited and localized, but the minutes of preaching Prophet Muhammad that are unitversal. On universality treatise Prophet Muhammad, Allah Almighty has asserted itself in the Qur'an in several verses and letters, among others:

                                      34:28

And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know.(Surah Saba '28)

And Allah confirms this in his saying narrated by Bukhari and Muslim from Jabir ra:"Prophets sent earlier earmarked for his own people (specifically). While I have been sent to all mankind ".

The beginning of the prophets was Adam and the end of the prophet is Muhammad. Prophetic Adam clarified by God in His Word:

                                     2:37

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

                                   2:38

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Surah al-Baqara 37-38).

As well as the words of the Prophet Muhammad:

"I'm the prince of the children of Adam, later in the day qiamat (but) there is no pride in myself. And my hand was the banner of praise (but) there is no pride here. Not a nabipun, either he or the prophet Adam as the other then they are under my banner "(Narrated Turmudzi).

The Prophethood of Muhammad SAW, can be proved aqli the eternal miracle, the Qur'an. He is Kalamullah, which has silenced the disbelievers, silence can not match or bring one letter such as Al Al Quran. It is a compelling proposition that Muhammad was a prophet and apostle. Therefore, only a miracle God gave to the prophets and apostles.

 Allah says:

                                 2:23

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful.(Surah al-Baqara: 23)

Prophet Muhmmad SAW is Closing Prophets and Messengers

Besides, we believe in the prophetic and apostolic Muhammad, we must also believe that the Prophet Muhammad is Khatamun-Nabiyyin (Seal of the Prophets). Among the Islamic Ummah from the Companions until now, even unto the end of time later required to comply with the consensus that the prophet and messenger of God (the end) is Muhammad SAW, so no more prophets and apostles thereafter until doomsday. Consensus of the Ummah of Islam on this matter is based on:

1. Word of God Almighty:

                                      33:40

Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing.(Surah al-Ahzab 40)

In this verse it is clear that Muhammad is the seal of the prophets and apostles. Therefore there will be no prophet after apostles especially. For levels higher than the level of messenger prophet.

2.Hadith Muttawatir:

  1. Muttawatir hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal from Anas bin Malik, he said:  "Truly prophetic treatise has been exhausted. So there is no prophet and apostle before".
  2. Shohih hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari, Ahmad Ibn Hibban of Abi Hurairah:"Surely I am with the parable of the prophets before me is the same as someone who makes a rusmah; embellished and enhanced (and solved everything) except the (prepared) to a brick house on the corner. People admire that surround the house, but asked: "why did you not put the bricks? 'The Prophets say' I am the stone masonry (last)-as a complement and that, and I am the Seal of the Prophets"

In the two described above hadith that the prophetic and apostolic been cut off entirely. Thus the assumption Ahmadiyya Qadiyani ideology that says that after Rasullah prophet SAW there is clearly wrong (perverted) and not based on understanding Arabic and Personality '. Qadiyani understanding of the phrase "Khatamun-Nabiyyin" is stamped (stamp) for the previous prophets, obviously very wrong. Therefore, the definition of this phrase in Arabic is "final prophet (last)".

Jamaluddin Muhammad Al Ansari, an Arabic dictionary of the most famous "Arab Lisanul" he said that the word "seal" has the same meaning as the word "khatim" and "seal". He writes as follows:

"Khitam of a people and khatim and khatamnya are efflux from them. And Muhammad is khatim (efflux / end) of all prophets. Khatim and seal are among the names (given to) the Prophet Muhammad in the Qur'an. Mentioned in the Qur'an that Muhammad SAW is khatimannabiyyin, the final prophet (cover) all the prophets ".

Furthermore Jamaluddin Muhammad Al Ansari said:

"Referring to the Qur'an and hadith muttawatir above, if there are people who say they will be no prophet after Muhammad, then they have gone astray and infidels. Therefore, the people who claim to be prophets that person had gone astray (deviate) of the Islamic faith which clearly confirms that the Prophet Muhammad is the seal of the prophets with the qath'i tsubut nash and qath'i dilalah ".

Regarding the people who claimed to be a prophet after Muhammad, long before the Prophet Muhammad has been proclaimed in a hadith narrated by Bukhari and, the Muslim Ahmad and Abi Hurairah

"It will not happen unless the apocalypse will come out (appear) lying artisans (the trickster) approximately 30 people. All claim to be a messenger of God. "

Including the fraudsters who allegedly Prophet Muhammad, was Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. This man claimed to be a prophet after Muhammad. He held a new shari'ah and stated that he received a revelation and authored a book called God's revelation.

Meaning of Faith Apostolic Muahammad SAW

The words "laa ilaaha illahallah" set only Allah as the only One who has the right diibadahi with diabdi, obeyed and adhered to, used as our only makes Shari'a. And to eliminate all forms of worship and devotion to other than Allah or the creatures of God. While the phrase "Muhammadur rosululloh" of determined that many of God's creatures in the world, Muhammad is only the servant of God who has the right to be followed and imitated. Do not follow other than him. Not to be take anything except from him. He just hang out in the air of God's law, so it should not take the law of Voltarie, Montesqure or Karl Marx (in the legal community and state institutions). Also should not take the law of any religion, whether of religion that have been distorted and changed as Jews and Christians, or the source of human religion like Hinduism, Buddhism, Qodiyaniyah, Baha'iyyah, and so forth (in law worship and hereafter).

So it is not allowed to take the law derived from the ideology of anything in this world, such as capitalism, socialism, communism, and others. So all the laws that apply to us simply relying on Islamic law derived from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. Apart from that we are not allowed to use as reference. We are required to only refer to Islam alone, and just follow the Prophet. Allah says:

"What is given unto the Apostle receive him. And what is banned then leave "(Surah al-Hayr 7).

                              33:36

It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.(Surah al-Azhab 36).

                                  4:65

But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.(Surah An-Nissa '65).

                                  24:63

Do not make [your] calling of the Messenger among yourselves as the call of one of you to another. Already Allah knows those of you who slip away, concealed by others. So let those beware who dissent from the Prophet's order, lest fitnah strike them or a painful punishment.

"Then let those who violate his commandment, fear will be overwritten trial or a painful torment" (Surah An-Nuur 63)

                                  4:80

He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah ; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian. (Surah An-Nissa '80).

                                 3:31

Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."(Surah Ali Imran 31).

These verses clearly commands the Muslims to adopt rules that come from the Prophet Muhammad, and imitate him, obey him, and to restore all the rules to him. Following what he had to say good words and deeds and warning to those who violate His commandments. All of this is an aqidah. For the first verse instructed to take all of what is conveyed by the Prophet Muhammad from God in the form of His commands and prohibitions, both mentioned in the Qur'an and the hadith of Prophet SAW.

While the second verse describes the permissibility and worthly not and is not permitted for all believers to have rules other than Allah and His Messenger.

In the third verse Allah swears that one can only be a believer in truth, except after he raised the Prophet as a judge (issues breaker) in the event of dispute between them. Then they do not believe until they accept the verdict of the Prophet Muhammad without any sense of mind and narrowness in them against the law. Besides, they really let go and surrender themselves born-mind to what comes from the Prophet.

Then the fourth paragraph warn those who disobeyed the Prophet, for they will be overwritten slander and the trials and painful torment. This clearly shows violate illegitimate rule brought by the Prophet and his illegitimate follow other rules, warning that doing so would be overwritten torture, trials, and slander.

While the fifth paragraph states that obedience to the Prophet together with obedience to God. Mandatory obedience to God, then it must also obey the Messenger. And obey it will not be achieved except by following all the rules and follow all the rules and laws that come from him, and by following the Sunnah in the form of words and actions.

Then the last paragraph linking the love of God and obedience to follow the Prophet in all his doing regulations. Because if not, there is no meaning for those who pretend to love God but do not want to follow what the Prophet brought from his Lord.

Hence the Prophet require all Muslims to implement completely, all what Allah revealed to His Messenger, without distinction between law one with another. For all the law of God is equal in terms of obligations to be applied. That is why Abu Bakr ra. and the Companions fighting dissidents charity, is because they rebelled against the implementation of the law, that is the obligation of zakat. Allah himself has threatened those who discriminate between one law to another, who believe in certain parts of the Quran were other parts denied, with the threat of humiliation painful torment in this world and the Hereafter. As His words, which reads:

                                 2:85

Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. "(Surah Al-Baqarah 85).
