Islamic Aqidah built on six pillars of faith, namely: Faith
in God, His angels, books, His book, His apostles, the hereafter, and faith in
the destiny of the good and the bad.
The six pillars has been mentioned clearly in the Qur `an and the Sunnah of His Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam. Allah Almighty says:
Righteousness
is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true]
righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the
angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love
for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask
[for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and
gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and
[those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those
are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.(Surah al-Baqara: 177)
Meanwhile, the fate of the faith mentioned in His saying:
Indeed, all things We created with predestination.(Surah al-Qamar: 49)
Whilst of Sunnah is the hadeeth of 'Umar ibn al-Khattab that famous story of
coming to peace be upon Jibreel asked the Prophet Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam
about faith. So he sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said:
"You believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and you believe in fate the good and the bad." (Narrated by Muslim no. 9)
It is not someone say faith in God that he believes in four cases:
2. Faith in God's Angels.
That we shall justify that the angels were there are His form which Allaah created them from light. They are the creatures and servants of God who always obey and serve Him. Allah Ta'ala says:
The six pillars has been mentioned clearly in the Qur `an and the Sunnah of His Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam. Allah Almighty says:
Meanwhile, the fate of the faith mentioned in His saying:
أن تؤمن بالله وملائكته
وكتبه ورسله واليوم الآخر
وتؤمن بالقدر خيره وشره
"You believe in Allah, His angels, His books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and you believe in fate the good and the bad." (Narrated by Muslim no. 9)
Here's a brief explanation about the six pillars of faith:
1. Faith in God.It is not someone say faith in God that he believes in four cases:
- Believe in the existence of Allah Ta'ala.
- Rububiah faith in God, that nothing is created, controlled, and rule the universe except God.
- Uluhiah faith in God, that no gods worthy of worship except Allah and denies all gods besides Allah Ta'ala.
- Believing all the names and attributes of God that God has set for himself and that His Prophet Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam assign to God, and away from ta'thil, tahrif, takyif, and tamtsil.
2. Faith in God's Angels.
That we shall justify that the angels were there are His form which Allaah created them from light. They are the creatures and servants of God who always obey and serve Him. Allah Ta'ala says:
We shall have faith in detail every angel that we know his name as Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil. As we do not know his name then we believe them globally. Among them is a form of faith to believe in each task and their deeds are mentioned in the Qur `an and the Hadith are authentic, like dropping revelations, the rain, take a life, and so on.
3. Faith in God books.
That we believe that the whole book of God is His word, and not a creature kalamullah because of the nature of God and the word of God is not the nature of the creature.
We must also have faith in detail all the books named in the Qur `an as the Law, the Gospel, the Psalms, suhuf Abraham, and Moses suhuf. While we do not know his name then globally we believe that Allah Ta'ala has other books other than those described to us. Specifically about Al-Qur `an, we must have faith that he is the legal removal of all the scriptures that down before.
4. Faith in the prophets and messengers of God.
That is the faith that exists among men than among men who Allah Ta'ala chose as an intermediary between himself with the creatures. But they all still are human beings who did not have the properties and rights of Lordship, therefore worship the prophets and apostles is a real sleaze.
Mandatory believing that all the prophets and messengers of revelation is true and comes from Allah Ta'ala. Therefore anyone who belie prophetic one among them then the same thing he has been denied all other prophets. Thus Allah Ta'ala infidel Jews and Christians do not believe when Muhammad Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam and Allah belie their faith in Moses and Jesus Alaihimassalam, because they do not believe in Muhammad Sallallaahu alaihi wasallam.
Must also have faith in detail every prophet and apostle that we know his name. While we do not know his name then we shall to faith globally. Allah Ta'ala says:
5. Faith in the Last Day.
It said the end of the day because he is the last day for the world, there is no longer the next day. The end is the day that Allah Ta'ala destroyed whole creature was still alive when it was-except that Allah and then they all raised to account for their deeds. Allah Ta'ala says:
a. Believing everything that happens in nature Barzakh-the nature of the world and the next-in the form of grave slander by two angels, favors the grave for those who graduated from the slander, and the punishment of the grave for those who did not survive it.
b. Believe in the signs of the Day of Judgment, both small signs that the number of tens, and large signs that the scholars mentioned number was 10. Among them: The emergence of Imam Mahdi, the release of Dajjal, Prophet Jesus peace be upon descent, escape Ya `JUJ and Ma` jun, and so on until the sun rises from the west.
c. Believing everything that happened after the resurrection. And if you want in orderly fashion incident as follows: Awakening mahsyar stood in the desert and lake, and reckoning (frequently asked questions and the distribution of the book), mizan (weighing deeds), sirath, hell, qintharah (second bridge after shirath), and the last paradise .
6. Faith in the destiny of the good and the bad.
It means we must have faith that all that Allah has destined, whether the event is good or bad, it all comes from Allah Ta'ala. Faith in God is not teranggap perfect destiny to believe in four cases:
a. Believing that Allah Ta'ala believe in all events, both good and bad. That God knows all the events that have passed, which is going on, that has not happened, and all the events that did not occur in case, God knows how it happened.
Allah Ta'ala says:
From 'Abdullah bin' Amr bin Al-'Ash radhiallahu anhuma he said: I heard the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said:
كتب الله مقادير الخلائق
قبل أن يخلق السماوات
والأرض بخمسين ألف سنة
"God has written the destiny of all creatures 50,000 years before God created the heavens and the earth." (Narrated by Muslim no. 4797)
c. Believing that no single movement and silent creatures in the heavens, on earth and in the universe but all occurred after Allah wills. It is being moved except by His will and permission, not as they are silent and do not move until after there is the will and consent of his.
Allaah says,
Allah Almighty says:
Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.(Surah Az-Zumar: 62)
